Yet it is not only steel and stone that make the citadel formidable. Beneath its hallowed halls lie the forgotten depths of Project Glass Ceiling: sealed chambers where Baldur’s most secretive experiments were conducted in the name of strength and supremacy. These subterranean blacksites, once teeming with researchers and containment units, were long abandoned after the coup attempt that nearly exposed their horrors. But with the city under siege, whispers have begun to spread of something stirring in the dark. With rebellion on its doorstep and warships at its shores, Lion’s Den Citadel stands at the precipice of destruction or salvation, and should it be the former, the rest of Baldur is sure to follow it.
